MY STEPBROTHER’S ROOM WASN’T LOCKED - Episode 6

 MY STEPBROTHER’S ROOM WASN’T LOCKED…

EPISODE 6: The Girl in the Video, the Rain, and The Night I Let Hell In.

Sometimes, you don’t find the truth.

The truth finds you…

And drags your lace pant along with it.

That night, I couldn’t sleep.

Not because of the kiss.

Not because of the slap Dayo gave Tari.

Not even because of the video.

But because...

I didn’t know who I was becoming.

I thought I was a good girl.

Sweet girl.

Book-reading, lip-gloss-wearing, churchy girl.

But somehow, I was now the centre of a love triangle that had bl0od, lust, físts, and secrets.

And the worst part?

I liked the chaos.

Next Morning…

I found the girl in the video.

Her name was Bisola.

She was 23. Smart. Pretty. Broken in places nobody sees.

She agreed to meet me in a café ... and from the moment she walked in, I knew she wasn’t lying.

She had that survivor pain smile. The kind you force when you’ve been hurt but still want to look soft.

“I know why you’re here,” she said before sitting down.

“I’m not here to judge you,” I replied.

“You’re here because of Dayo.”

Silence.

She took a sip of water. Her hands shook.

“Everything in that video? Was real,” she whispered.

My chest tightened.

She continued.

“He wasn’t always like that. At first? He was sweet. He read poetry. Sent me love notes. Bought me a wig and called me his ‘sugar idiot.’ I fell so hard… and so fast.”

“But?”

“But he changed. After our third time… he started recording. I didn’t know. I found out later ... when he told me he likes to keep memories of his conquest.”

Tears filled her eyes.

“He called it documenting pleasure. But for me, it was vi0lati0n.”

I clenched my fists.

“He hít you?”

“Not with físts. But with words. With silence. With guilt. With gaslighting. He used s3x to punish and reward. And when I criéd? He m0cked me for being soft.”

I looked away.

Because her pàin?

Sounded like a future version of me.

Before I left, she touched my hand.

“You think you’re different because he kisses you with his eyes open. But sweetie... he’s studying your weakness while you’re closing yours.”

That line?

Cut deeper than his lips ever did.

Back Home ... Rainfall. Thunder. Electricity gone. Of course.

I entered and saw Tari, shirtless, fixing the faulty socket in the corridor.

No electricity but light was radiating from this man’s chest and arms.

“Back already?” he asked, smiling softly.

I nodded, trying not to melt.

“You okay?” he asked, touching my elbow gently.

I shook my head. “I’m tired. Confused.”

He took the screwdriver from his mouth and whispered:

“Let me confuse you better.”

Before I could even exhale, he kissed me.

Different.

Deep.

Safe.

No rush.

No hunger.

Just passion with patience.

And my body?

Betrayed my soul and responded.

I kissed him back.

Moaned into his mouth like I’d been holding it for years.

His lips travelled to my neck. My shoulders.

He lifted me like témptation didn’t weigh anything.

And I didn’t resist.

But just as he laid me on the couch...

KPA!

Dayo.

At the door.

Rain dripping down his face.

Físts clenched.

Eyes?

Hellfire.

“You really opened your legs for that idi0t?”

Tari stood up slowly.

“Back off, bro.”

But Dayo was shaking.

He looked at me. Wet. Angry. Hurt. P0ssessive.

“You can’t kiss me like I’m oxygen… then let this bastard touch you like suya.”

“Dayo...”

“No! You want real? Let’s talk real.”

He stepped forward.

Tari tried to block him but I stood between them.

Dayo’s eyes were red.

“You know how many girls I rejected because of you? How many times I sat in my room touching myself just to avoid entering yours?”

My eyes widened.

“You think I wanted this? I didn’t want to want you! But you keep walking past my door smelling like sín and mangoes!”

I swallowed.

“Then you brought this Tari of Lagos to distract you from me. You think he’s holy? He’s safe because he hasn’t seen you cry.”

Tari laughed coldly. “You sound like a sp0iled child who can’t share his toy.”

Dayo turned to him. “She’s not a toy. She’s mine.”

“No. She’s herself. And she can choose.” Tari snapped.

And right there… both men looked at me.

The girl with the wrapper and the thunderstorm heart.

Me.

I looked at Dayo.

Then at Tari.

Then I did the most dangerous thing ever:

I kissed Dayo.

Right there.

In front of Tari.

Wíld.

Angry.

Drippíng with màdness.

Because that kiss?

Was a confession, a curse, and a goodbye wrapped into one.

Then I turned to Tari…

And kissed him too.

Soft.

Gentle.

Slow.

Then walked away ... leaving both of them breathless and confused like students in NECO exam hall.

In my room, I locked the door.

Looked at the mirror.

Saw a girl who didn’t know what to do with the fire she lit.

But knew one thing:

Someone is going to get burned.

And maybe…

That someone is me.

If this episode lit your heart, soaked your thighs, confused your brain and left your spirit shouting “Holy Spirit, rest small!”...
