Five mistakes that an upcoming artist makes

1.Always looking for free recording.

If you are male artist, you won't have a say when your track isn't well mixed or mastered. Producers will always prioritize paying artists, they don't eat your bars or the weed you are bringing to the studio.

If you are a female artist. They gonna take advantage of you and they'll see you as something they can control.

2.Always available for any kind of event and thinking that compliments are part of the progress. People will compliment you more when you are dead, it's not a big deal don't get too comfortable with being overhyped while nobody is willing to pay for your work. You don't even have rate card coz you not ready for bookings they just call you then you show up when you get to the event they treat you like trash, if an artist with high profile shows up, they forget that they've called you. You may endup not even performing. 🤷🏾‍♂️

3.Thinking that a feature with an artist doper than you is gonna make you blow up, it actually exposes your wackness🤷🏾‍♂️

4.Being managed by another upcoming artist or thinking that featuring a busy upcoming artist will make you blow up. That artist hasn't blown up himself so what hell🤣😂

He needs help and you think he's gonna help you, even a well exposed artist can't manage upcoming artist, mostly coz they also fighting to stay relevant 🤷🏾‍♂️ You can feature Cassper or get signed under him and still remain upcoming, so imagine signed by someone who is still fighting his way up🤷🏾‍♂️

5.Taking promises too serious, everyone has opinion and idea about what you do but if they can't go to extend of investing money in your talent then don't plan around their opinions. Have a plan suitable for your sound and audience. 🙌💯
